Good Morning Everybody !!!
Does anybody else know what it feels like when the alarm goes off and your eyes pop open and the first thing that comes to your mind is, “NOOOOO, I AIN’T READY !!! ” ?
That is me…. I know that the first thing we should do is tell our Father, “Good Morning”. But the old flesh screams out, it hurts and we express it. I know I do.
I know my body feels old and tired and I feel like I am having to drag it around just to get through the morning. But be encouraged, God knows how we feel. He has made a way to get through each and every day. He tells us to approach every day with a desire in our hearts to find Him, to look for Him in everything. We may feel like we are on our own, but we really are not. While we were asleep, He was already busy making a way through this day.
My dad loves to treasure hunt. It is his passion, his desire to find hidden treasures. But did you know that God strategically places hidden treasures along our path that we travel. It is up to us to search for these treasures throughout the day. Some may be on the surface and we stumble upon them as we trod along with our eyes focused on our concerns, however, if we open our eyes and search for them throughout the day, we will find God and the deep hidden treasures that He has for us.
Colossians 2:2-3 (NIV) My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Isaiah 33:6 (NIV) He will be the sure foundation for your times,
a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge;
the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.
