Good Morning Everybody !!!

It is a bright sunshiny day. The temperature is not bad either, very nice, to nice to stay cooped up in the house and watching television. Today is a good day to get up and get moving, so go outside and get moving. However, before we do that, we need to talk about balance. In this world, we have so much going on that it is easy to get out of balance. There are so many voices out there that are telling us to do this and do that. Then we have to stop and really scratch our heads because it is confusing. But God is not confusing, the things that God says is not confusing. If we are in a state of confusion then we should automatically know that is not of God, but do we ?

We can fall into a state of fear if we listen to everything that comes across the air waves. But God did not give a us spirit of fear. Yes, we live in frightening times, but we are not to be afraid, God says over and over again in His Word to “do not fear.” “Be of good courage,” and the reason He said that so much is because when we fear, we panic. When we panic it causes irrational behavior. We are to put our trust in God, He is our source of everything. He is our protector. When we open our ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying, we will know when something is coming and what we are to do about it. But when we are in a state of panic, we will not be able to hear anything but the roar of the storm.

2 Timothy 1:7 “… God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” (ESV)

Psalms 34:4 “I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” (ESV)

Proverbs 29:25 “The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.” (ESV)

Isaiah 35:4 “Say to those who have an anxious heart, “Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.” (ESV)

There are so many Scriptures about fear that it would take so long to put them all on here. Get in the Word people, for yourselves. When you know the Word for yourself, you will not fall for anything that will come at you. Times are rough people, and there are so many voices out there in the world that are just trying to cause you to fear and panic. We are almost to the end of this age. Jesus is coming quickly.

Have you ever had the feeling that you were just stuck, and that you were just not getting anywhere?

And have you ever had the feeling that you just were not getting everything that this life has for you?

There has to be more to this life than what you are seeing and experiencing. Have you ever had the feeling of “what is wrong with me?”

We are human, oh, what a shocker! Humans make things more complicated than they really are. We take things that are meant to be simple and we turn them into stuff that is complicated. Sometimes and in most cases, we feel like life is spiraling out of control, and we just have no power over it, we feel like we are victims. The victim of circumstance. I know I have had some very rotten stuff happen to me in my life. I could say, I am a victim of ….

But no, I am not a victim of anything. I refuse to have the victim mentality. I am an overcomer.

There are people that live from success to undermining, like waves on a rough ocean. They say things like, “all good things must come to an end,” “if it’s not one thing than it’s another,” “I have to laugh to keep from crying.”

We have to keep in mind that we are responsible for ourselves, not everyone else. Not your mom, dad, brother, sister, neighbor, we are. And everything in this life is connected. Everything. We are spiritual beings as well as human. There is more to this life than what you see.

I have to stop right here before I go on any further and say, I do believe in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. I believe in the Holy Bible and yes I do post a lot of scripture. I believe in prayer. And what I believe is scriptural. I have seen too many miracles to not believe. I have been told by other people, ” I don’t want to hear it if it is religious”. What I have to say is not religion. I am not here to make anybody believe anything, I am here to write, and to write about what has happened to me in my life, and what has worked in my life and to tell My Story. Now on with the program as they say.

If we want our lives to change then it starts with what we say. If you keep putting negative words out there, you will start to believe what you say. You have to learn to fill your my mind and heart with light and truth, not with the negative. You have to take control, first step to control is controlling your words.

Proverbs 18:21 tells us,” Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those that love it will eat of its fruit.”

Proverbs 23:7 tells us , ” for as he (not just talking about male and female here) thinks in his heart, so is he.
