My heart just screams out with pain because of all the violence. I scream out Father, save the children. My heart breaks for the children and the families of lost children all over this very planet. Every day we hear and see the violence, and I keep asking how long oh Lord ? How much more ? Everything is turned upside down and it is so hard to look at it.

I was in a discussion with someone recently and the subject came up, what is it going to feel like when this life is over and eternity starts? Right now there is turbulence, like being on an airplane or going to space, and then all of sudden, smooth. No more turbulence, when we break through this turbulence is it going to make a sound like pop, like water breaking? I have always read that when Jesus comes back there is going to be a trumpet sound, can you imagine, hearing a trumpet and then smoothness no more turbulence. WOW. In that we have to rejoice.

Just like a tethered hot air balloon that is being released one tether at a time, so it seems with me. Things that have bound me up for many, many years are being removed. At first it seemed like stepping off a cliff and free falling but then I realized that yes, it did seem like I stepped off a cliff however, I stepped off the cliff onto solid rock. I know that no matter what, God has this under His control. There is nothing that concerns me He hasn’t already seen. He is not caught off guard, and I have to put my trust in Him. I had trusted other people and they had let me down, and I had tried to do everything myself and then after so long of relying on myself and never getting anywhere, it was time to trust in God. He has this way of doing stuff way better than I could ever imagine doing . Old doors are closing and new doors are flying open it seems. True freedom is believing in God, and knowing that when we put our trust in Him, that He is working everything out for our good.

Romans 8:28 (NIV) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

We are living in a day and age of where human tragedies are so common. Not a moment goes by where we don’t see them, experience them or hear about them on the television or the internet. People are suffering, and we should be pulling people up not knocking them down with our words. It is time to pick people up. We have politicians pushing their own agendas instead of reaching out to help the very people that they are suppose to be representing. A system that is dehumanizing people all the while loving people with lip service only. Pushing for violence in an already volatile situation. People are so hungry for love, starving for truth. Where is the love? We as a people, are the hands and feet of God. We need to show people that He is love, and His Gospel is truth. It is time to stand up and shout it from the rooftops. It is time to give people the Truth. Stop being afraid of what they can do, but it is time to stand up for what God says is true. Hope will arise up out of the tragedies. It is time to show the Love of God, It is time to let people know it and see the Truth.

This has been a wild and crazy ride. I had to finally sit down and just stop. I had to stop everything and just look and listen. My life has taken a sharp turn in the other direction and I had to get my bearings here.

Yesterday, after many many years of being bound up and not having the freedom to do what I wanted to do because of someone else’s control, came to an end. It felt just like stepping off a cliff and not seeing the bottom. I had been set free. I must say when you have been set free from something that has kept you in bondage for so long, so many years, it takes your breath. Yep, I felt like Oh My Goodness, what now? Old doors are closing and New doors are opening…

I am excited about the future and I want to share what is going on and I pray that y’all are as blessed as I am. Love y’all and hang on to seats.

Today is a great day to Praise the Lord.

I have been sick lately and today is the first day that I have felt good in over a week, actually longer than that. Major sick, then concussion (don’t walk and text people, my bad LOL !!! ), then sick again. That is only because God brought me out of it. People have been praying for me and I really appreciate that greatly. I have so much to write about and as y’all can tell I am also trying to redo this blog. I want to be adding things to it, and also spending a lot more time writing in general. Spring is here and I feel like I have been missing it by being in the bed, hiding under the covers. I have things to do, places to go and things to share.

Today, the windows and doors fly open and let the sunshine in. This place is in need of a good spring cleaning. So I will be keeping in touch, just hold on to your seat. Today is an awesome day in the Lord.

It is very, very important to get into the Word of God for yourself. Not everybody that comes at you quoting scriptures is from God. Even the devil quotes scriptures, and he has had a very long time to know them. Do not be deceived into thinking that something is what God says, time is so short and it is a scary time and we need to know what is the truth and what is not. The enemy loves throwing in there half-truths. Be very watchful people.

Living through the chaos is what comes to my mind so far for the start of this month. We have have seen wars and high gas prices and food prices so far this month. In our own lives here, we have seen life, death and people committed to one another in marriages and engagements. Everybody continues on regardless of the external circumstances. We have life, even though it may feel like the very air is being sucked right out of our lungs, we still must continue to get up and take care of what needs to be taken care of. Yes, we have tragedies, yes, we have people that keep declaring doom and gloom ahead. However, if you believe in Jesus and the Cross, and you have accepted His free gift of eternal life, then you can feel peace in the midst of this chaos. No matter what is going on around you, you don’t have to be moved into that chaos. When the disciples were in the boat and the storm was raging, Jesus was in the boat asleep. They had gotten frightened and woke Him up. Jesus woke up and rebuked the storm and then there was calm. That was Matthew 8:23-27, I also paraphrased that so y’all need to look that up. Do you see, Jesus doesn’t necessarily take you out of the storm but He is right there in the middle with you. You don’t have to worry and be sick trying to figure everything out. But you do have a part to play in the midst here. You have to accept His peace, He also said that His peace He gives to you, not as the world does. Let not your heart be trouble, neither let it be afraid. That is John 14:27, and again I am paraphrasing that, so y’all look it up.

Keep looking up y’all, even when you feel like it is over, nope, it ain’t over, the best is yet to come.
