Straight from the heart ❤️

Good Morning, Everybody !!!

Good morning on this foggy but glorious day. What an awesome God He is. Goodness !!!

I sit here in my favorite spot with my coffee cup in hand ( well, sort of it’s in front of me). I’m just pondering on things that have happened to me through the years, life markers as I call them. We all have them, events that mark a time in our lives that are important, such as people that have changed our lives, births, or deaths, traumas, whatever it may be that made a marker, some good, some bad.

Do ya think that these life markers were an accident? No, they are there to remember lessons at that particular moment in time that you had to learn or experience in order to grow. If you have traveled on interstates or rural roads, you will see mile marker signs. We have those types of signs in our lives as well. Just remember back to a life marker in life, and what lesson did y’all learn from that? Nothing happens by accident. And always remember, what the enemy means for evil God will turn around for good.

We should be thankful that we have a loving Father in Heaven that protects His children. He protects us from the things we see, but more importantly, from the things that we don’t see. It’s important that we ask for His protection. And you do that through prayer.  In His Word, we are told to ask for discernment over and over. How can you defeat an enemy that you don’t know about? And a lot of times, we assume that an enemy is this or that, and it turns out it’s an enemy you have never encountered before or you have encountered it for so long and because of assumptions you never knew how to fight it. In the Scriptures, it tells you that people perish because of a lack of knowledge. That is why people die all the time. They are wiped out needlessly. It is very, very important to read the Word of God. As you read the Scriptures, ya have to ask Holy Spirit to reveal and teach you what it means. The days are treacherous, and without knowledge,  without discernment, people will perish.

I know I hear people all the time, especially here lately. They will say things like spirits can’t touch you or hurt you. But I beg to differ, without discernment, you can’t fight them, and they can kill you. The Word states that the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. And also the Word states my people perish from a lack of knowledge. People … quit playing dumb. Get in the Word, and listen to what God is telling you. He is always speaking, tune your ears to hear. He gave you two of them, which means you need to attune your ears to hear. That is done by giving Him your undivided attention. My grandson, when he was a toddler, would grab both sides of my face and get nose to nose with me to tell me something. I am glad now that he just says, ” maw maw.” He says maw maw what seems like a million times a day. But the same thing with God, He wants our undivided attention. Don’t be trying to listen to the television or the radio and listen to God at the same time. Wisen up folks, this is war, whether you believe it or not, or as I have even heard people say, “I didn’t sign up for this,” The enemy don’t care whether or not you did or didn’t. You’re in it, and you better suit up. There are many casualties. Are you going to be one?

Genesis 50:20 ESV  As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

Jeremiah 29:11 ESV  For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Romans 8:28 ESV  And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Psalms 91:1-16 ESV  He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.  (2)  I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”  (3)  For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.  (4)  He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.  (5)  You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,  (6)  nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.  (7)  A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.  (8)  You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked.  (9)  Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place— the Most High, who is my refuge—  (10)  no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.  (11)  For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.  (12)  On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.  (13)  You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.  (14)  “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name.  (15)  When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.  (16)  With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

James 1:5 ESV  If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

Matthew 10:16 ESV  “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 ESV  For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.  (14)  And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.  (15)  So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

Hebrews 4:12 ESV  For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Hosea 4:6-13 ESV  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.  (7)  The more they increased, the more they sinned against me; I will change their glory into shame.  (8)  They feed on the sin of my people; they are greedy for their iniquity.  (9)  And it shall be like people, like priest; I will punish them for their ways and repay them for their deeds.  (10)  They shall eat, but not be satisfied; they shall play the whore, but not multiply, because they have forsaken the LORD to cherish  (11)  whoredom, wine, and new wine, which take away the understanding.  (12)  My people inquire of a piece of wood, and their walking staff gives them oracles. For a spirit of whoredom has led them astray, and they have left their God to play the whore.  (13)  They sacrifice on the tops of the mountains and burn offerings on the hills, under oak, poplar, and terebinth, because their shade is good. Therefore your daughters play the whore, and your brides commit adultery.

John 14:26 ESV  But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

John 10:10 ESV  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Ephesians 6:10-20 ESV  Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.  (11)  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.  (12)  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.  (13)  Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.  (14)  Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,  (15)  and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.  (16)  In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;  (17)  and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,  (18)  praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,  (19)  and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel,  (20)  for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

Straight from the heart ❤️

Good Morning, Everybody !!!

What a lovely morning. I am in my favorite spot, all curled up on the couch, watching the fluffy white clouds float by and listening to the chirping of my new baby ducklings and chicks. They are so adorable.

In this life, it is so easy to fall into a pattern of wallowing in how bad everything is, that self-pity mode, and being negative. But when a person slows down and listens for that still small voice and really starts to look at everything that God has for ya, life is really awesome.

Recently, we had two more family members pass away, one rather unexpectedly, and the other knew a little bit ahead of time that they were about to pass over. Death is one of the hardest things that we, the ones that are left behind, have to deal with. And no matter who we are, we all have to die unless, as the Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:51-57 (ASV) , “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.This corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law: but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

But the end is really just the beginning. Why? Because Jesus came to this earth to put an end to it forever.

One of my favorite things to do is read and go to different book stores. I can sit on the floor of an old book store for hours just digging. I love the smell, and I enjoy words. But with so many words, books, and philosophies, people have a tendency to believe in the “what sounds logical,” but God, the creator of the universe, made it perfectly clear in His Word, the Holy Scriptures.

Colossians 2:8-15 (ASV)  Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:  (9)  for in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily,  (10)  and in him ye are made full, who is the head of all principality and power:  (11)  in whom ye were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;  (12)  having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.  (13)  And you, being dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, you, I say, did he make alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses;  (14)  having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross;  (15)  having despoiled the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Colossians 2:8-15 (TPT)  Beware that no one distracts you or intimidates you in their attempt to lead you away from Christ’s fullness by pretending to be full of wisdom when they’re filled with endless arguments of human logic. For they operate with humanistic and clouded judgments based on the mindset of this world system, and not the anointed truths of the Anointed One.  (9)  For he is the complete fullness of deity living in human form.  (10)  And our own completeness is now found in him. We are completely filled with God as Christ’s fullness overflows within us. He is the Head of every kingdom and authority in the universe!  (11)  Through our union with him we have experienced circumcision of heart. All of the guilt and power of sin has been cut away and is now extinct because of what Christ, the Anointed One, has accomplished for us.  (12)  For we’ve been buried with him into his death. Our “baptism into death” also means we were raised with him when we believed in God’s resurrection power, the power that raised him from death’s realm.  (13)  This “realm of death” describes our former state, for we were held in sin’s grasp. But now, we’ve been resurrected out of that “realm of death” never to return, for we are forever alive and forgiven of all our sins!  (14)  He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all—our sins, our stained soul—he deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto his cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation.  (15)  Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were his!

I like to have different translations of the Bible because when you look at them side by side, it makes what I am reading clearer, much like looking through a microscope. A person’s vision needs to be readjusted, just like looking through a lens at times.

God chose things to be simple and not all this complicated stuff that is confusing. But to the people that thinks everything has to be logical and so this or that, God shakes it up and makes it confusing to them, but give it to a small child and it makes perfect sense.

1 Corinthians 1:18-29 (TPT)  To preach the message of the cross seems like sheer nonsense to those who are on their way to destruction, but to us who are on our way to salvation, it is the mighty power of God released within us.  (19)  For it is written: I will dismantle the wisdom of the wise and I will invalidate the intelligence of the scholars.  (20)  So where is the wise philosopher who understands? Where is the expert scholar who comprehends? And where is the skilled debater of our time who could win a debate with God? Hasn’t God demonstrated that the wisdom of this world system is utter foolishness?  (21)  For in his wisdom, God designed that all the world’s wisdom would be insufficient to lead people to the discovery of himself. He took great delight in baffling the wisdom of the world by using the simplicity of preaching the story of the cross in order to save those who believe it.  (22)  For the Jews constantly demand to see miraculous signs, while those who are not Jews constantly cling to the world’s wisdom,  (23)  but we preach the crucified Messiah. The Jews stumble over him and the rest of the world sees him as foolishness.  (24)  But for those who have been chosen to follow him, both Jews and Greeks, he is God’s mighty power, God’s true wisdom, and our Messiah.  (25)  For the “foolish” things of God have proven to be wiser than human wisdom. And the “feeble” things of God have proven to be far more powerful than any human ability.  (26)  Brothers and sisters, consider who you were when God called you to salvation. Not many of you were wise scholars by human standards, nor were many of you in positions of power. Not many of you were considered the elite when you answered God’s call.  (27)  But God chose those whom the world considers foolish to shame those who think they are wise, and God chose the puny and powerless to shame the high and mighty.  (28)  He chose the lowly, the laughable in the world’s eyes—nobodies—so that he would shame the somebodies. For he chose what is regarded as insignificant in order to supersede what is regarded as prominent,  (29)  so that there would be no place for prideful boasting in God’s presence.

So people, this is the time to stop all the hustle and bustle and just watch and see what God has in store for you today.

Love Y’all and carry on

Most definitely the last days

Good Morning, Everybody!!!

The coffee is delicious this morning. I am sitting here at the table with my cup of coffee, looking out at gray skies, just watching the trees blowing in the wind. And I am thinking, more like pondering on the latest headlines. We are definitely in the last days. I was sitting here thinking about where to start writing because there is just so much. It all starts with Love, if you really love people, you will tell them the Truth no matter who is offended, it is better to be offended and know the Truth and live than to not know the Truth and die. So I am going to write the Truth, no matter who gets offended.

God is separating His true followers, His children from those that are pretending to be His followers. And trust me, God knows who His true followers are. He knows the true heart of people. But we are beginning to witness with our very own eyes this separation that is taking place. He is calling His body to walk in holiness. And what looks like one thing to us is something totally different to God. Just recently I read where this very notable man of God (not naming names) was removed from radio and the thing was it wasn’t him that just quit but his board of directors didn’t like what he was preaching about, and they felt that their listeners wouldn’t like it either so they removed him. Then again this pastor refusing to mention words like Resurrect, the Blood of Christ, Calvary, so as not to offend outsiders. People need the Truth and this Easter, shouldn’t it be about Jesus and the work that He did on the Cross at Calvary. Jesus died a brutal death on that Cross. He bled as a ransom for people, people that are dying and going to hell. Jesus rose from the tomb after taking back the keys, conquering the grave and death forever. Jesus did that, and if we don’t tell people the TRUTH they will not know the Truth. I don’t care if people get offended or not. I love people to much to not tell them the Truth. Easter is not about bunny rabbits and nice clothes and who can find the most pretty eggs. There are those people that would rather stick their head in the sand and not look at what is going on around them and that to me is disturbing. I would like to be able to say, all is well in the world and everything is just lovely and peachy, but I can’t do that. I love people too much. Jesus is coming back soon, much sooner than people can comprehend. And time is of the essence here.

I heard people that have said, in fact, I have had people tell me that if they miss the rapture they will see me in seven years. Really people !!!

Do y’all realize what will happen when the church is no longer here? Total chaos. The Holy Spirit will not be here and it will be pure hell on earth. All the demons of hell will be released, no love will be here at all. The Church is called to be salt and light and salt is a preservative. When the church is removed, this earth will fall into decay even more than it already has. The light will be removed as well. I heard someone tell me that they just felt like God has called them to stay on after the rapture to preach to those left behind. I can only stand here in such disbelief at those words. God did no such thing. In Revelation 14 it says that the angels are going to do that because it will be so bad on earth that no human could even possible do that. They will not be able to mention the name of God, or Jesus or anything like that, they will be killed immediately. And you think Artificial intelligence is watching you now, it will be so much worse. And those 144,000 that I have been told by those that think they are part of that number, my friend, those are Jewish people. Get in the Word, people, read for yourselves. Time is of the essence here. And stop running after those that only try to preach what feels good, that stuff will not save us. Only Jesus Christ and His Blood that was shed will save us. There is so much more that can be said, but this post is already long. I just want people to be saved, and not have to endure the wrath that is coming.

Revelation 14:6-13 (ESV)  Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people.  (7)  And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.”  (8)  Another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.”  (9)  And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,  (10)  he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.  (11)  And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”  (12)  Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.  (13)  And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”

Revelation 14:1 (ASV)  And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty and four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.

1 Peter 4:17-18 (ESV)  For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?  (18)  And “If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”

2 Timothy 4:1-5 (ESV)  I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:  (2)  preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.  (3)  For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,  (4)  and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.  (5)  As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Matthew 24:3-14 (ESV)  As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”  (4)  And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray.  (5)  For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.  (6)  And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.  (7)  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.  (8)  All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.  (9)  “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.  (10)  And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.  (11)  And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.  (12)  And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.  (13)  But the one who endures to the end will be saved.  (14)  And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Matthew 5:13-16 (ESV)  “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.  (14)  “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.  (15)  Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.  (16)  In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-10 (ESV)  Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,  (4)  who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.  (5)  Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?  (6)  And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time.  (7)  For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.  (8)  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.  (9)  The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders,  (10)  and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

Good Morning Everybody !!!

Resurrection Sunday is right around the corner and I see all the Easter stuff lining the shelves at the store and countless people getting ready to celebrate. People out buying pretty baskets with chocolate bunnies and candy galore. And also buying Easter clothes to visit family and go Easter egg hunting. While some people attend a Church service out of respect and other people don’t. I heard one person say they don’t go any other time so that don’t want to be a hypocrite and go on that day either. But I wonder what would happen if people really could get a grasp on what that day really means. I know a lot of people that are turned off by church and Christians and the truth is I can’t blame them one bit. However, today, the word “religion” is on my mind. I have noticed that most religions are hung up (no pun intended) on the crucifixion of Christ. They still see Him hanging on the cross. And that is as far as they get in their walk with Jesus. But Jesus is not still hanging there. In fact, He is risen from the grave. He rose up from that agonizing death on the cross and burial in that tomb to bring us life. There is more to salvation than just having a place secured in Heaven when we pass away. Jesus died so we could have life and life abundantly. I have heard and seen so many people turn away from Jesus and they all say the same thing, “I just don’t want none of that religious stuff”. Religion kills, in fact it was the religious people that killed Jesus on the cross. Jesus died so that we could have a relationship. Being a true Christian is not a religion, but a relationship with the Father. It was the resurrection of Jesus that brings life to us, physically and spiritually. Have y’all ever noticed that religious people walk around with a death mentality. They are never happy or show any amount of joy, and if we are happy in our walk with Jesus, they act and some people have even voiced their opinion that we are going straight to hell in a handbag. We don’t dress right or talk right, and most definitely don’t look right. We do not fit their religious molds. Here is my opinion on that, “well bless their little ole hearts”.

Religion stinks !!!

I am here to tell y’all

How can y’all have a relationship with somebody that is dead?

Jesus’ resurrection was His most glorious moment, y’all know why? He conquered death and the grave.

Have y’all really thought about what conquered means? Conquered means vanquish, defeat, subdue, reduce, overcome, overthrow by force. Jesus went to hell and took back the keys that Satan had stolen.

I want to share something here. When Jesus was being beaten and He bled and He died on that cross, He did that to pay a ransom for us. In the Heavenly Kingdom, there is a justice system. On this earth, we have a justice system, granted it has gone haywire, evil is now good, and good is now evil, and the justice system is more corrupt than ever, but we do have a justice system, and the Kingdom of Heaven has one too. In fact, that is where the Justice system originated. (That is another message for later)

Jesus came to this earth to become a human in the flesh, and to live a sinless life and to pay with His blood the price for our sins so that we would not have to. Who else would do that for us? I know of nobody that would die for me. While Jesus was being beaten and hung on that cross, Scriptures say that in Isaiah 53:3-5 (ESV)  He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  (4)  Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.  (5)  But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.

That means that He literally carried in His body our sickness, and pains and He literally took our punishment on His physical body so that we would not have to. It is our choice whether or not to accept what He did on that cross. If we choose not to accept His free gift then that means we would rather pay the price for our own sins ourselves. But the choice is ours to be made, nobody can do that for us, it is a personal choice.

I have even heard people say that if God wants to save me then He will save me. God doesn’t violate your freewill people. I have even heard people talk about predestination with God. Yes, God has a plan for your life, but it is up you to choose to walk in it. God is not going to force you to do anything, even be saved from eternal damnation. God doesn’t send anybody to hell that ask Him for forgiveness and accepts His free gift. I even know people that ask God for forgiveness and then they turn around and go right back to the mess they were just delivered from. I ain’t going to lie here, the struggle is real. But this one thing I do know, when we ask Jesus to come in our life and we make Him Lord over our lives, He promised us a comforter, a Helper and that Helper which is the Holy Spirit will guide you in the way your should walk but it is your choice whether to listen to the still small voice or ignore Him. Also remember “Religion kills”, and a relationship with Jesus is life.

Hebrews 10:14 (AMP)14 For by the one offering He has perfected forever and completely cleansed those who are being sanctified [bringing each believer to spiritual completion and maturity].

Philippians 4:19 (AMP) 19 And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 53 (AMP) Who has believed [confidently trusted in, relied on, and adhered to] our message [of salvation]? And to whom [if not us] has the arm and infinite power of the Lord been revealed?
For He [the Servant of God] grew up before Him like a tender shoot (plant),
And like a root out of dry ground;
He has no stately form or majestic splendor
That we would look at Him,
Nor [handsome] appearance that we would be attracted to Him.
He was despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and pain and acquainted with grief;
And like One from whom men hide their faces
He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or esteem Him.

But [in fact] He has borne our griefs,
And He has carried our sorrows and pains;
Yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken,
Struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him].
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing];
The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him,
And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.
All of us like sheep have gone astray,
We have turned, each one, to his own way;
But the Lord has caused the wickedness of us all [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]
To fall on Him [instead of us].

7He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He did not open His mouth [to complain or defend Himself];
Like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,
And like a sheep that is silent before her shearers,
So He did not open His mouth.
After oppression and judgment He was taken away;
And as for His generation [His contemporaries], who [among them] concerned himself with the fact
That He was cut off from the land of the living [by His death]
For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke [of death] was due?
His grave was assigned with the wicked,
But He was with a rich man in His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.

10 Yet the Lord was willing
To crush Him, causing Him to suffer;
If He would give Himself as a guilt offering [an atonement for sin],
He shall see His [spiritual] offspring,
He shall prolong His days,
And the will (good pleasure) of the Lord shall succeed and prosper in His hand.
11 As a result of the anguish of His soul,
He shall see it and be satisfied;
By His knowledge [of what He has accomplished] the Righteous One,
My Servant, shall justify the many [making them righteous—upright before God, in right standing with Him],
For He shall bear [the responsibility for] their sins.
12 Therefore, I will divide and give Him a portion with the great [kings and rulers],

And He shall divide the spoils with the mighty,
Because He [willingly] poured out His life to death,
And was counted among the transgressors;
Yet He Himself bore and took away the sin of many,
And interceded [with the Father] for the transgressors.

Leviticus 16:22 (AMP)22 The goat shall carry on itself all their (the Israelites) wickedness, carrying them to a solitary (infertile) land; and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.

Romans 5:1 (AMP) Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed).

Matthew 8:16-17 (ASV) “… and healed all that were sick: 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our diseases.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (ASV)” Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

Good morning, everybody  !!!

I know everybody gets to a point where ya  are so stressed out that if another thing pops up, that will surely be the breaking point. But did you know that even Jesus, Himself had to just get in a boat to be alone.

Matthew 14:13 (ESV) Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a desolate place by himself. But when the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the towns.

Jesus had just heard about the beheading of John the Baptist, and I am sure that was painful to hear, even for Jesus. We forget that Jesus was human. That was His purpose for coming to this earth as a human being to experience life as we do. However, He overcame this life to become sin on that cross and to conquer death. Back to my point, even Jesus had to have alone time. And have you ever noticed that when you are at a crisis point and need alone time, somebody will come knocking, following, needing something. Even Jesus Himself knew that feeling.

Sometimes, we just have to get in a boat. If you have ever been in a boat on the river and all you hear are the sounds of nature, it is so calming. I grew up on the river, and even to this day, I don’t believe there is anything on this earth that is so refreshing.

It comes a time when you just have to have a break from all the chaos and go find yourself a lonely place.

Love yall and carry on

Good Morning Everybody !!!

I am up early this morning, curled in my spot on the couch, watching the light of a new day make the trees look like silhouettes. I know as the light of the sun becomes brighter, I will be able to see the trees clearer. That is the same way it is with us and the light of God. As we wait in His presence, the light of His Word will make things clearer.

I know this past few weeks, but the more I think about that it has been since before Christmas, things have been chaotic. There has been sickness, loss of relationships, and even loss of family and friends to death. It is rough, and it is so hard not to let discouragement slip in. There is a shaking going on in the physical as well as in the spiritual. And the things that are not of God will not stand. That is why it is so important to get rooted in what God has said and done. In Psalm Chapter 1 (EVS)

Blessed is the man
    who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
    nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
    and on his law he meditates day and night.

3 He is like a tree
    planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
    and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
4 The wicked are not so,
    but are like chaff that the wind drives away.

5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
    nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
6 for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
    but the way of the wicked will perish.

When we are rooted in the Word of God, when we know what His Word says, we will walk in the council of God. Then we will be planted like a tree, and we will be rooted in the Word of God. Have you noticed a tree when it is firmly rooted? It goes through storms and it does not fall over. It has branches and limbs that break to a certain extent, but it is just a natural process of strengthening, so better and stronger branches can grow. God’s way of pruning the dead stuff off. So it is with us, no, the pruning doesn’t feel good and that’s for sure. But if we carry the dead stuff around with us, we get weighed down in bondage and can’t go on into the next level of what God has for us. Nobody said it would be easy and that it won’t hurt, but it is a necessary part of growth.

Today is a brand new day, a new start. Therefore, people, time to get up, wash our faces, and move into what God has for us.

Love y’all and carry on !

Good Morning Everybody!!!

My goodness, I am up before the chickens again. But it’s alright, because I have been in bed way too much. But rest is very important when ya get sick. It all started Christmas day, I got hit with the flu. Then, a night later, I got a phone call that my sister was taken by ambulance to the hospital, and then by 2:00 am, I received another phone call that she had graduated to heaven. While I was just getting over the flu and a funeral, I was still coughing like crazy and went to the doctor and was told it was bronchitis. While recovering from that, I had gotten what seemed to be a little bit sicker, so I went back to the doctor and tested positive for covid and rsv. So, as yall can see, this has been crazy. But I will survive because I have work to do.

I did want to share something that has been on my heart lately and that my friends is the subject of time. Time is one of the most precious gifts that you can give to a person, other than sharing the good news of Christ with them. I hear it a lot, ” I just ain’t got the time, or I am so busy that there is not enough time.”

What exactly are you spending your time on? In reality, it is not your time. It’s God’s time. Are you being a good steward of that time, or are you just wasting that time on things that really don’t matter? I know we have to work and make money. “Money is the most important thing in this life.” I know I hear it. But what if you knew what your true purpose was in this life? And making money wasn’t it. Would you be so addicted to making money that you would throw your true purpose out the window as you were driving to work? What about your children? They are watching you, and they are not really going to care about the stuff you buy them, but instead, they care about the time you spend with them. What about your loved ones? Time is so precious. What about the time with The Father in prayer, waiting to hear what His plans are for you. His ways are much better than yours anyway. People are always in a hurry, and then they feel like they can just throw money on the problem and make it go away, including people. There will come a day in your life, it will be over. Death will be at the door, and then you will look up, and you will get a review of your life and see how much you wasted. Are you comfortable with that? If not, there is still time to make an adjustment. As the old Steve Miller song goes, “Time keeps slipping, slipping, slipping into the future.”

Good Morning Everybody !!!

I just have to say Praise the Lord. God is so good to us even though we can’t see everything or even most of what He is doing in our lives. He protects us from a bunch of stuff that we don’t even have a clue about, and for that I am very thankful. I have a Father in Heaven that has my back. What an amazing thought. Yes, yesterday was hard for me, and even though, I know where my sister is, I felt the loneliness of her being gone. But the truth is she is not gone as most people think of gone, her physical body is just asleep, waiting for Jesus to raise our physical bodies, but she, her spirit, her will, mind, emotions, is with Jesus, and knowing her, dancing in the streets of paradise and swimming in the river that flows from the throne of God. She is having so much fun and she is not hurting or even in the slightest bit, sick. She is walking in complete restoration. That is a fact we all should be wanting for ourselves. I am so ready to be in that heavenly place. And we all should take great comfort in that fact. Death is just a part of life, just like a seed is planted in the ground and sprouts up and becomes a great big tree, so it is with us. We all will have to pass on from this life into the next, and that is a fact of life, it will happen, unless we go in the rapture. And I know that is coming very soon.

So, today, I choose to be happy, and smile, and carry on with the things that God has called me to do. We all have a choice to make, what is your decision today?

Love y’all and carry on people !!!

Good Morning Everybody !!!

A new year and a new day, all with new opportunities. So people, it is time to stop looking backwards into what was, it is time to look forward into what will be. Our Father has so much for us that we can’t even imagine what it will be like. I know that I am so excited about my future and the future of my children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. I know I hear so much about resolutions, “I am going to do this….I am going to do that.” Did you know that the majority of resolutions are thrown out the window within the first week or so of making them? It is easy to say that you are going to do something, but it is quite another to actually do it. According to Oxford Dictionary, resolute means admirably purposeful, determined, and unwavering. That means you have to make up your mind and be so determined, or so stubborn that you are not going to waver in your thinking. And that is what we need to do with the things of God. We need to be so determined, so stubborn, ride or die in our thinking about what God has said for us to do and then get moving. Regardless of who is with us or not, this is something between you and God, just like with me and God. It is a personal journey. We are all in a walk with God, but it is still personal. My walk is not your walk, and your walk is not my walk. However, no matter what, we have to be determined, make up our minds, and get moving. If you don’t, and you just lay around and keep saying, “woe is me”, you will not get anywhere. What you say and what you do will determine how your life turns out. Not other people’s actions, YOUR ACTIONS. If you don’t believe that mentality will kill you, hang tight, you will wake up in eternity, and you will find out the hard way.

Proverbs 18:21 (ESV) “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eats it fruit.”

Good Morning Everybody !!!

Happy New Year !

A New Year has begun and despite everything that has been going on around here with all the sickness and loss of loved ones, it is a New Year. A year of exciting things are in store for the children of our Most High King. Excitement is in the air. I can see what looks like small children running through the halls and streets with little slippers on their feet, laughing and giggling, getting ready for a huge party that is about to take place. That to me is exciting. I can feel the love and the joy that is being poured out upon the children of God and I can’t get anymore excited than that.

Love Yall and carry on people !!!

We have a party to attend
