Just like a tethered hot air balloon that is being released one tether at a time, so it seems with me. Things that have bound me up for many, many years are being removed. At first it seemed like stepping off a cliff and free falling but then I realized that yes, it did seem like I stepped off a cliff however, I stepped off the cliff onto solid rock. I know that no matter what, God has this under His control. There is nothing that concerns me He hasn’t already seen. He is not caught off guard, and I have to put my trust in Him. I had trusted other people and they had let me down, and I had tried to do everything myself and then after so long of relying on myself and never getting anywhere, it was time to trust in God. He has this way of doing stuff way better than I could ever imagine doing . Old doors are closing and new doors are flying open it seems. True freedom is believing in God, and knowing that when we put our trust in Him, that He is working everything out for our good.
Romans 8:28 (NIV) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
