Welcome to the front porch

Back when I was growing up, the front porch is where you would sit and enjoy great conversations with your elders. If you would listen you could learn so much about every thing. You would enjoy a glass of sweet tea on those hot summer days and the breeze would blow just the right amount to cool you off. I definitely loved growing up in the South. I don’t think there is anyplace I love the most. If you sit long enough they would hand you a bowl of peas to shuck and great conversations to be had. So welcome to the front porch… so grab ya a seat and get a glass of sweet tea or as my son says, “get yourself a hot cup of coffee” !!! just slow down and enjoy the day. Ain’t nothing like being on the gulf coast. There is just so much to do and learn, but the one thing I have learned over the years is that no matter how much I learn I still don’t know nothing.
